Welcome
Welcome to CalcForge.org. CalcForge.org currently hosts news about the latest calculator development projects, has a community board and hosts an RPM repository full of Linux Calculator Programming Development tools.
CalcForge.org Makeover
NewsWith some thought I decided to give CalcForge.org a complete makeover in addition to the project management system being added in the near future.

Here is what we thought out:
-Use a modified version of PHP-Fusion for Home Page, news, Articles, Project Listing, File Archives, etc.
-Use a modified version of phpBB3 for the forum, as it seems to have some features now
-Use Trac for project management that will include an SVN repository for each project.
-Possibly have a mailman server for project mailing lists.
-Write a custom control panel to manage to manage CalcForge.org User accounts so the same username and password works for the Main Website, forum, and all projects for bug reporting, etc.

Project Managment coming soon
NewsI am pleased to announce that the long awaited project management system for CalcForge.org will soon be launched. While a colleauge and I had planned the Project Management system for CalcForge.org back in January I will finally have time to implement it hopefully by the end of the month. The system will consist of a trac environment for each project that will have: a wiki, time release schedule, file management system, front page blog, forum, bug tracker and a svn repository.

SVN Repository
News

CalcForge.org now houses an SVN repository that will allow two or more programmers to work on Calculator related programming projects with ease. This will also allow the public to see how a project is faring through its development and will allow anyone to checkout the code (svn co http://svn.calcforge.org/svn/reponame/) during the development of a particular project. Currently we will not be accepting any public requests for use of the SVN server.

Updates
NewsWith about 6 weeks of downtime, and lots of headaches setting up DNS, FTP and the Mail Server, CalcForge.org is finally back online.

We have also made a few changes:
  1. The Contact Us page now gives information on how to connect to the TIGCC IRC Channel.
  2. We now have an RPM Repository for Fedora Core 6 developers. This repository is home of many development tools such as TiLP-II, TiEmu3, TIGCC, KTIGCC, their libraries, etc. These are located at http://repo.calcforge.org.

Updates
NewsI have posted a poll that I would like all members to vote in determining hopefully CalcForges successful future.

Also I have added some new themes to CalcForge and made appropiate header images for the themes. If you are a member you can change the current theme in your profile.

TiEmu3 / Skin Edit Binaries
SoftwareI have recompiled Windows Binaries for SkinEdit 20060518 and TiEmu3 20060518 and uploaded them to the website. There will probably be no updates in the near future because official Snapshots may be compiled in the near future. Hope these up-to-date binaries help you out :).

TiEmu3 Windows Binary and more!
DownloadsI have uploaded the Windows TiEmu 3/Skin Edit 20060507 Binary onto CalcForge! It was built with and requires GTK+ 2.6.10-rc1 runtime and all you have download it and run the installer by clicking here.

I have also updated all the source code except for Tilem to be up to date as off May 18, 2006. I also got rid of the .svn directories in those source files. I will get to TiEmu3 20060518 Binary later on.

I chose asm, only because C would be practically useless on calculators without hand done assembly.

In the poll, I would have recommended you put C# and Other. I know somebody from school who programs in C# smiley

I prefer Firefox for its Extensions/Browsing Speed. But I like Konqueror for its simplicity and integration like IE on Windows.
